What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep. Related technologies — local storage, pixels — do the same job: they let a site remember something between page loads. This policy covers all of them.
We use as few as possible, for three reasons: keeping the site working, understanding how it is used, and remembering conveniences you asked for.

Your choices
On your first visit a banner asks what you are comfortable with. Nothing beyond strictly necessary cookies is written until you answer, and rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting.
Your answer is stored in the gms_consent cookie for 180 days, together with the version of this policy it applies to. Change it whenever you like — the choice is yours to reopen, not a one-off.

The categories we use
Each category is switched on or off independently, so you can allow measurement without allowing anything else.
- Strictly necessary — Required for the site to load, stay secure, and remember this choice. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics & performance — Lets us see which pages get read and where visitors drop off, so we can improve what we publish.
- Marketing & advertising — Would be used to measure campaigns and show relevant ads. Nothing in this category is active today.
- Preferences & functionality — Remembers optional conveniences, such as keeping the chat panel open as you move between pages.

Third parties
HubSpot provides the analytics and the chat panel on this site. Once you allow analytics, HubSpot sets its own cookies to recognise a returning browser, and to connect a visit to a contact record if you choose to email us. HubSpot’s privacy notice explains how it handles that data.
No advertising or social pixels are active here today. The marketing category exists so that if one is ever added, it stays switched off until you allow it.

Managing them yourself
Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge all let you block or delete cookies from their settings, usually under Privacy. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of this site — the theme control and your saved consent choice among them.
If you clear your cookies or return on a new device, we will ask again. That is the system working as intended.

Changes to this policy
When we add or remove something from the list above, we update the date and version at the top of this page. A change that widens what we store will trigger a fresh request for your choices.
